Practice

I create artworks that uncover overlooked histories and invite new conversations about identity, memory and resistance.

Working across collage, sculpture, painting, moving image and public art, my practice explores the enduring legacies of colonialism and the ways systems of power continue to shape how we understand ourselves, each other and the spaces we inhabit. Through research-led projects, I draw together archival material, personal narratives and public participation to challenge familiar histories and reveal perspectives that have too often been overlooked.

I graduated with First Class Honours in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Arts, University of the Arts London. Since then, my work has developed across galleries, public spaces and cultural institutions, creating opportunities for audiences to engage with history in new and unexpected ways.

My work has been exhibited at Tate Britain, Tate Exchange, the Royal West of England Academy (RWA) and the Paul Mellon Centre, and I have collaborated with organisations including the National Trust, Bristol City Council, Fairtrade Foundation, Creative Debuts, Spike Island, The World Reimagined and WEMA.

Alongside my studio practice, I design and deliver workshops for museums, schools, universities and community organisations, creating collaborative spaces where participants explore history, identity and social change through making.

Whether creating a public artwork, exhibiting within a gallery or leading a workshop, I am interested in how art can encourage dialogue, deepen understanding and open up new ways of seeing the world.
