(Un)Welcome.

Performance work at Chelsea College of Art. 2024

(Un)Welcome is a participatory performance that examines immigration, borders and the bureaucratic mechanisms through which belonging is determined. Developed collaboratively with Ama Muotoh and Alice Eves, the work invited members of the public to queue, complete an application form and undergo a staged processing system in which they were accepted or rejected before being separated into designated holding areas.
